All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Chappell, Charles Charles Curtis 'Chuck', 40, passed quietly August 24, 2002 at Deaconess Hospital. Preceded in death by his father, Vernon Chappell in 1988. Chuck worked as an auto machinist the majority of his career. He established Chappell Engine, Inc. in 1990 and was a respected businessman and friend to many. Chuck enjoyed building show cars and high performance engines, hunting and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Joy, son and daughter, Charles and Kelsey Chappell, stepdaughter Tristann Jackson. Also survived by his mother Lois Mercer, brothers John Chappell and David Schneider, sisters Connie and brother-in-law John McBride. Lyndel and brother-in-law John Jacquemot, mother-in-law, Janet Jackson, and father-in-law Larry Jackson of Holbrook, Ne. His leadership, and friendship will be missed by the close knit Chappell Engine, Inc. employees, Eric Brown, Ted Burns, Ron Hagood, Benny and Ronnie Hodgins, and Paul Taylor. Chuck was known as a kind and generous man, his friendly, outgoing personality was given freely and will be missed by the hearts he touched. Memorial services will be held at the Vondel Smith South Chapel at 6934 S. Western Oklahoma City, OK at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2002. VONDEL L. SMITH & SON MORTUARY 6934 S.
