A.B. Childers

PERRYTON - A.B. "Mama Bug" Childers, 90, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ochiltree Cemetery with 
the Rev. Ted Latham officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers 
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Childers was born in Maylene, Ala. She moved from Little Rock, Ark., 
to Oklahoma City. She had lived in Perryton for 21/2 years.

She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manon E. Childers, in 1995.

Survivors include a son, M.E. "Whit" Childers of Perryton; a daughter, 
Sarah Mae Nix of Falcon Head, Okla.; a brother, Wayne Houston of 
Montevallo, Ala.; three sisters, Eva Doris Houston of Montevallo, Martha 
Edge of Miami, Fla., and Kathryn Holloway of Laurel, Miss.; six 
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Central Baptist College in Conway, 
Ark.
