All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Collier, Doy Lynn Doy Lynn Collier, 93, of Choctaw, went to meet her heavenly father on August 16, 2005. She was born to Charles and Mary (Barton) Collier on May 9, 1912, in rural Temple, Bell County, Texas. She married Alton Leslie (Dave) Collier in 1932 in Bell County, Texas. She moved to Choctaw after the death of her husband Dave in 1997. Lynn retired in 1977, after 20 years as catalog department manager for Montgomery Ward. Lynn was a friend to everyone she met and was a tremendous football fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother and her precious daughter, Judy Loy. She is survived by two daughters, Bobbye Padgett of Ft. Worth, TX and Belinda Roan of Choctaw, grandchildren Shannon Grimaila and husband Michael of Ohio, Tammy Lykos of Corpus Christi, Jamie Greene and husband Jimmy of Ft. Worth, Todd Padgett of Lawton, Angie Meservy and husband Ranny of Lawton, Rich Kozik of Tulsa, eight great-grandchildren who were the light of her life and brought hours of joy, and many nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known as 'Nannie" to the many children whose lives she touched. Lynn's sense of humor, charm, and sparkle will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the Choctaw Church of Christ, followed by a 2pm graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton, OK.
