Senior Master Sergeant (Ret) Ted R Campbell Senior, Midwest City, Oklahoma. Mr. Campbell, who was well known for saying he felt 'pretty good considering my age and the shape I'm in', passed away 11 Aug 2002, at Midwest City Hospital. His wife Carolyn and nine children, Reba Revel, Margaret Livingston, Patty Ann Kilburn, Ted Campbell Jr., Barbara Chance, James Campbell, Kimberly Sugar, Jerry Lane Jr, Cory Luman survive him. He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War and served overseas in France, Okinawa, and Korea. He joined the Army in 1944 and, after a Short break in service, joined the Army Air Corps in 1946. He transitioned to the United States Air Force when it was created in 1947. He was medically retired at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, 5 Dec 1964, after 21 years of honorable service and attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. His family and friends wish this Airman and American patriot clear skies and calm winds. Memorial Donations can be sent to Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 921 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104. Memorial Services will be 1100 hrs, Tuesday, 13 Aug 2002, at the Tinker Air Force Base Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
