All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Chambers, Frances "Lucille" Frances 'Lucille' of OK City, OK joined her Lord and Saviour, and her best friend and husband, Earl, on May 14, 2004. She was born September 25, 1916 in Pocasett, OK to Leo F. and Ora L. Clark. She lived most of her adult life in OKC with her loving spouse, Earl E. Chambers, whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Lucille graduated with high honors in her business classes and received a job with GMC immediately after graduating in 1934. Throughout her married life she worked along-side Earl as his faithful worker and companion in his insurance co. Lucille always took great pride in everything she did. She carried herself with much poise and grace, and always made a 'fashionable entrance'. She was an excellent gourmet cook, and beautifully entertained many friends and family. She loved to travel, and took many trips and cruises with Earl all over the world. Lucille was also very gifted at needlework. She made many exquisite pictures that were displayed in her home for all to see. In later years, Earl and Lucille moved to Carrollton, Texas to be closer to their family. After Earl's death in June, 1999 she remained in her home to be cared for by her sons and eventually her granddaughter. There she spent many happy days with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. In Feb. 2003 she moved to Aurora, Co to be near her youngest son, where she lived until her death. She is survived by three sons, Clark, of Dallas, Texas, Steve, of OKC, and Bruce of Aurora, CO; 5 grandchildren, Craig, Colin, Todd, Holly, and Emily. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Freja, Jaden, and Canaan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo, and sister Dorothy Jane. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm on Wed. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, at Resurrection Cemetery.
