He was born June 22, 1923 in Minco, Oklahoma to Walker Wesley and Mary Jane (Coley) Cravey. James married Frances Richard on January 21, 1945 in Longview, Texas. He served his country in the Army with honor during War World II. They came to Midwest City in 1959 previously living in OKC. James retired from civil service at Tinker AFB. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park. He is survived by his wife Frances of the home; son: Glenn Cravey & wife Darlene of Edmond, OK; daughter: Phyllis Wright & husband Ken of Jones, OK; 7 grandchildren: Angie, Amanda, Scott, Carrie, Jeff, Wesley, and Ken; 5 great grandchildren: Tayler, Katleyn, Kaylee, Hayden, and Halle; 2 brothers: Wayne Cravey of Okla. City, OK, Troy Cravey of Norman, OK; 2 sisters: Iliene Clark of WV, Iona Berry of Bethany, OK, and numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother George Cravey. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home 1820 S.
