All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Cravens, Bobby Wayne Bobby Wayne Cravens born in Konawa, OK on June 8, 1936 died at home in Oklahoma City an March 25, 2003. Preceded in death by his parents RC. Cravens, 1967 and Opal Cravens, 2002. A retired commodities broker from Barnes Brokerage in Edmond and a lifelong tennis player, he was married to Linda Dishman Cravens for 33 years and had 2 children, Robin Renee Cravens, 31, of Tulsa & Robert Charlie Cravens, 29, of OKC. He is survived by one brother, Dean Cravens and his wife, Linda Sue, OKC; his Aunt, Gladys Langford, OKC; one niece, Stephanie Cravens, Los Angeles, CA and Nephews, Tom Cravens, OKC, Chris Dishman, Chickasha, OK and Derick Dishman, Headrick, OK; brother-in-law Mike Dishman and wife, Diane also of Headrick; mother-in-law, Juanita Dishman, Altus, OK and special Aunt by marriage, Dovie Dishman, also of Altus. He leaves behind many cousins and long-time friends. Bob was known for his good spirit, his generosity and sense of humor and was a beloved father and husband. It was often said that he 'never knew a stranger. He continued to keep up these spirits while enduring a long fight to overcome a series of health conditions that plagued his last 7 years of life. He is finally at peace. He will be missed. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Vondel Smith & Son, 131st & N.
