All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Cross, Leonore "Lolo" Leonore 'Lolo' Cross, 74, died February 15, 2003 at Select Specialty Hospital following a long illness. Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, she lived in Oklahoma City for 48 years. Before coming to Oklahoma in 1955, Lolo worked for the U.S. Army as a translator in Karlsruhe, Germany, where she met her husband, Gene. Once her children were gone, she was employed by Southwestern Bell for 20 years. She retired in 1993. Mrs. Cross was an active member of Crossings Community Church. She enjoyed traveling, and often visited family and friends in Germany and the United States. Lolo was an avid fan of OU football. Mrs. Cross is survived by Gene, her husband of 48 years; her sister Elsa of Karlsruhe, Germany; her son Dieter of Des Moines, Iowa and her son Ken of Plano, Texas. She also had 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N. Portland, with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leonore K.
