All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Christy, Gerald Lee "Jerry" Gerald Lee 'Jerry' Christy, 49, of Luther, OK passed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2005 in Oklahoma City, OK. Jerry was born September 21, 1955 to Gerald Dee Christy and Joyce Fesler Christy. Jerry was a 1973 graduate of Luther High School and attended CSU. Jerry met and married Patrice Parson on October 23, 1992. Of this union came two beautiful children, Blaire, 12 and Blake age 5. Jerry has been in farm equipment sales for 20 years with Armitage Equipment. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Luther. He was past president of the Luther Alumni Association. He also served with several other organizations doing volunteer work. Jerry is survived by his wife, Patrice, of the home; two children, Blaire and Blake of the home; parents, Gerald and Joyce Christy of Luther; brother, Kent Christy of Luther. He is also survived by his grandmother, Mary Belle Fesler of Edmond and nieces and nephews, Julie, Shelby, Jessie, Clark, Kodee and Tom and a host of many cousins, and aunts. He also cherished all of his lifelong friends. The family wants to express their appreciation to Dr. James Reeves and his staff and the wonderful nursing and Tech staff on 4B at Mercy Health Center during Jerry's Battle with ALL. In lieu of flowers an education fund has been established at the First Bank and Trust of Luther. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. August 12, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Luther, directed by Brown's Funeral Parlor, Luther.
