She was born on September 11, 1936 in Elkhart, Indiana and was a real estate and bail bond insurer. She was employed with Surety Bail Bonds for 15 years. She married Bill Carlisle on August 27, 1977 in Ardmore, OK. She had been a resident of Oklahoma City since 1977 and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by: husband, Bill Carlisle of Oklahoma City, OK; mother, Arlene Wasson, Waterloo, IN; 5 daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryle Johnson of Conyers, GA, Viki and James Sanders of Franklin, TX, Niki and Larry Stovall of Bangs, TX, Jackie Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, Kim and Daryl Reber of McCamey, TX; 2 sons and daughter-in-law: Kenneth R. and Debbie Carlisle of Clinton, OK, Billy Ray Carlisle, Jr., of Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister, Sandra Meyer of Newport Richey, FL; 2 brothers: Mike Wasson of Auburn, IN, D.O. Wasson of Indiana; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Manning of Franklin, Texas will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Franklin. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time. In Oklahoma City, friends may view photos and sign memorial book Tuesday, 9AM-9PM at Branstetter Merritt Funeral Home, 7720 S. Penn.
