All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rose Hill Memorial Park--Tulsa OK The Grove Daily Sun 21 Jan 2007 CHARLES RAYMOND CHALK 1935-2007 OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Charles Raymond “Ray” Chalk, of Okla. City, passed away Sun., Jan. 21, 2007 at his home. He was 71 years of age. Ray was born Feb. 3, 1935 in Berlin, Pa. He moved to Muskogee, Okla. at age 10, then moved to Tulsa, Okla. with his mother and brother. Ray graduated from Tulsa Central High School in May of 1953. He served in the U.S. Navy at the end of the Korean War, then attended the University of Tulsa and graduated in 1957 with a degree in business administration and petroleum marketing. After graduation he and his wife Marilyn moved to Cheyenne, Wyo. He married Marilyn Murdock June 7, 1957 and they have been married 49-1/2 yrs. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph M. Chalk, Jr. Other survivors include: one son, Gregory Raymond Chalk, Okla. City, and wife, Bettye; one daughter, Teresa Gay Carr, Tulsa, and husband Randall Carr; three granddaughters, Brittany Myriah Chalk, Hailey Rae Carr and Shelby Rose Carr. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., Jan. 25, 2007 at the Abbey Mausoleum Chapel, Rose Hill Memorial Park, Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County, 4344 N.W. Expressway, Suite 106, Okla.
