Retired Master Sgt. Richard L. Dye, 59, died February 13, 2003, at his home in Glendale, Arizona. A private service is planned. He was born June 20, 1943, in Parkin, Arkansas to Sonny and Annie May Dye. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired in Oklahoma. He then started with Boeing as a Flight Instructor and later joined Evergreen International Air Cargo. Mr. Dye enjoyed flying, golfing and the horse races. He is survived by daughter, Claudia Dye, grandchildren, Miranda and Christina of Whittier, Alaska, two sisters, Barbara Person and Jimmye Lynn Porter of Arkansas, plus many friends from, Anchorage, AK, Phoenix, Arizona, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Arrangements were by Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary.
