All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Obit for Johnnie Mae Davis Johnnie Mae Davis Johnnie Mae Davis, 73, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 13, 2002. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Davis was born in Turkey, Texas. She grew up in Memphis and graduated from Memphis High School in 1948. She moved to Amarillo in 1959. She married Tommy Davis in 1961. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; and a son, Bobby Davis, in 1970. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Hubbard and Nita Dowdy, both of Oklahoma City, and Rita Davis of Austin; two sons, Charles King and William Davis and wife, Lanette, all of Amarillo; nine granddaughters, Missy Davis of Austin, Tiffany Barber, Robyn Cossabone and Megan Cossabone, all of Oklahoma City, LaTonya Hubbard and Ellen Hubbard, both of Boys Ranch, and Dakota Davis, Kellsey Harris and Ashley Harris, all of Amarillo; a sister, Lois Ann Fox and husband, "Pee Wee," of Amarillo; two brothers, Montie Clark and wife, Peggy, of Lubbock and Raymond Clark of Ohio. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice; or a favorite charity.
