Davis, 88, of Amarillo died Friday, April 2, 2004. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Conway, of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Davis was born in Newalla, Okla., on Oct. 29, 1915, to Henry and Stella Jones. She graduated from Harrah High School. In 1938, she married Charles E. Davis. She was a very active member of P.E.O., the Desk and Derrick Club, the Democratic party and the Sarah Bowen Circle. She worked as the office manager for the William H. Bush Estate. She was also a real estate broker dealing with farm and ranch real estate. She was a huge fan of OU and enjoyed sports of all types, especially basketball. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; and four sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Sandie Roberson and husband, Alan, of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Patrick A. Roberson of Newport Beach, Calif., and Courtney A. Johnson and husband, Stuart, of Dallas; and four great- grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Westminster Presbyterian Church Capital Fund, 2525 Wimberly Rd., Amarillo, TX 79109 or to a favorite charity.
