She was born in Richmond, Virginia February 28, 1923 and moved to Tucson March of 1962 with her late husband Raymond Douglas Davis. Before moving to Tucson, she lived in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and lived there to the age of 8. Betty and family then moved to Bethany, Oklahoma where she lived until she graduated from Bethany High School. Betty was the daughter of Vera Bell Haines Killebrew and granddaughter of L.P. Haines and Ida Mae Haines. She is survived by a daughter, Diane Davis of Tucson, and a son Gary Davis of Tucson; three grandchildren, Barbara (Devin) Harwell and daughters, Jamie and Erin of Littleton, Colorado; Richard (Melissa) Davis and sons, Austin and Wyatt of Tucson; Ginger VanDyke (Brian) and sons, Tyler and Brandon of Denver, Colorado; Betty's brother-in-law, Milton (Marjorie) Davis of Grove, Oklahoma. After completing high-school in Bethany, Oklahoma, Betty attended beautician college and worked at her mother's salon until she married and had her children. Betty and family moved from Bethany to El Reno, Oklahoma before moving to Tucson in 1962. Betty sold Luzier cosmetics and cashiered at her father's-in-law grocery store for many years. After moving to Tucson, she studied for her real estate license. She sold real estate for many years with her good friend, Mattie Maness. Betty was a Christian and a member of Catalina United Methodist Church. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and community. Visitation 1:00 p.m., with a service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY with burial to follow at SOUTH LAWN CEMETERY.
