Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City with the Rev. Randy Cox, pastor of Crestwood Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. She married George Oscar Degn on March 12, 1929, in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1954. Survivors include a daughter, Grace Brawdy and her husband, Howard, of Duncan; two sons, Melvin Degn and his wife, Kaye, of Merriam, Kan., and George Degn of Lowell, Ark.; three sisters, Roxie Farley of Lexington, Mae Bostik and Clema Farley of Wanette; two brothers, George Lester Peeler of Norman and Kenneth Peeler and his wife, Pat, of Del City; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
