Obit for Rudolph "R.D." Dawkins

Rudolph "R.D." Dawkins

WELLINGTON - Rudolph "R.D." Dawkins, 82, died Sunday, April 28, 2002,
in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Victory Temple Full Gospel Church with the
Rev. R.L. Hunnicutt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview
Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Dawkins was a veteran, serving in the Army during World War II. Before
his retirement, he worked in maintenance for Internal Revenue Service in
Oklahoma City.

Survivors include a son, Jesse Dawkins of Denver; two daughters, Sandra
Dawkins and Roberta Dawkins James, both of Oklahoma City; a sister, Ella
Mae Jones of Wellington; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren
and great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Victory Temple Full Gospel Church of
Wellington.
