All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Duhme, James Richard James Richard Duhme, 44, died Monday in Fresno, CA, after being struck while riding his motorcycle home from work. Jim was born July 9, 1958 in Oklahoma City, where he grew up. In 1986, Jim moved to Fresno, where he lived until his death, January 6, 2003. Jim was employed by B.P. Precision; he had an artistic ability to create anything from metal. He truly loved his occupation and his co workers. His hobbies included Harley Davidsons, fishing and creating metal sculptures. Family and friends were the most important aspect of Jim's life. He was loyal, protective and described as "my best friend" by people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. His smile, gentle spirit, sense of humor and open heartedness will be greatly missed, yet always remembered. Jim is survived by his devoted wife Melissa; daughter, Courtney; and infant son, Jimmy, Jr. of Fresno; his parents, Don and Dorothy Duhme; sister and brother in- law, Julie and Rick Naifeh all of OKC; sister, Jana Phillips and Mike Leehan, of Edmond; nieces, Chandler Phillips and Corie Naifeh; nephews, Ben Callaway, Chad Phillips and Nick Callaway; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and a large extended family in Fresno. A memorial tribute was held Thurs., Jan. 9, 2003, in Fresno. An educational fund has been established for Jim's children: Duhme Children Education Account, c/o Bank of Oklahoma, PO Box 24128, Oklahoma City, OK 73124, or any walk-in branch.
