Born September 19, 1944 in Oklahoma City, "Lee" attended public school and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1963. After a tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force, including time in Europe, Lee returned home and obtained a Degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern State College at Weatherford, Oklahoma. During an internship as a Pharmacist in Arizona, he met and married Constance Lynn "Connie" Bower. They lived in Arizona and Oklahoma for a while, but moved to Virginia where Lee obtained his Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy Degree, resulting in a position with the Veterans Administration and a transfer to San Francisco, CA. Over the next 20 years, Lee was promoted to Chief of Pharmacy at the V.A. Domiciliary. In 1979, they resided in White City and later moved to Eagle Point. Lee enjoyed playing many sports such as golf, hand ball, and tennis. Fishing, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and relaxing at his home in the country were among his favorite activities. Lee was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Lee Drane, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; their son, Kevin and his wife, Jennifer; and three grandchildren: Andrew, Amanda, and Anthony. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy (Berry) Drane; his Uncle James W. "Bill" Berry of Oklahoma City, and many, many "Okie" cousins.
