All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Estes, Stuart Hardison Stuart Hardison Estes, age 47, of Oklahoma City, was born December 6, 1954 in Santa Anna, California to Ed and Katherine (Lloyd) Estes. He passed away Friday, August 9, 2002 at his home. Stuart lived in Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Georgia before coming to Oklahoma in 1970. Stuart attended high school in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and then attended Oklahoma State University from 1972 to 1975. He returned to school, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2000 with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Stuart lived life to the fullest, savoring every moment. He loved people, nature, history and the simplest pleasures. His vast circle of friends is a testament to the love he gave and received. He counted fatherhood as the greatest privilege, responsibility, and blessing ever bestowed upon him. Stuart was involved and supported the local arts. He was a staunch Republican and was involved in local, state and national government issues. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, as well as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the American Association of Petroleum Landman, the Oklahoma Association of Petroleum Landman, and the Southern Oklahoma Association of Petroleum Landman. Stuart is survived by his precious daughter Kathrine Ann Estes; his soul mate, Misti Bradley, to which their love knew no boundaries; his mother Katherine Estes; his brother Lloyd Estes; and his sister Elaine Armenio. He is also survived by his nieces Amy McMahan, and Rachel Estes; nephews Gant Estes, Jesse Armenio and Max Estes; as well as his 'buddies' Parker, Nicole and Katie Bradley. He was preceded in death by his father Ed Estes and his sister Cissy Estes. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2002 at St. James Episcopal Church, 8900 S. Pennsylvania. A graveside committal service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Online tributes may be sent through www.mem.com.
