John T., age 78 of Oklahoma City, passed away January 6, 2003. He was born January 4, 1925 to William C. Elliott, Sr. and Lula (Lattimore) Elliott in Minco, Oklahoma. John was one of twelve children. He was a Navy veteran proudly serving our country in WWII and the Korean War. John was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for many years until his health prevented his attendance. He was an animal lover and also liked to read. His favorite time was spent with his twin grandchildren whom he adored. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Dyer and her husband Robert, their children, Mathew and Emily Dyer; his son, Steve Elliott; brothers and sisters, Kathleen and Denzille Lambert; Vertie Elliott, Frank and Elanor Elliott; Judy and Charles W. Brown, Charles and Edla Elliott, Mary Lee and Troy Roberts; Faye and Bob Anderson; James and Jeanie Elliott; Aaron and Billie Elliott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Caroline A. Elliott, brother, William C. Elliott, Jr. and sister, Ann Elliott Basore. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2003 at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel.
