Maureen Ellis

COTTAGE GROVE - Maureen Moore Ellis of Cottage Grove died May 11 of 
ovarian cancer at the age of 72. No service is planned.

She was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Salina, Kan., to Douglas and Nelle Cox 
Moore. She married William Ellis in Oklahoma City on Jan. 15, 1953.

She worked as a teacher with Redlands Unified School District in 
California and was a private pilot.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Valarie Ellis of 
Fayetteville, N.Y.; a son, Christopher Ellis of San Bernardino, 
Calif.; a sister, Dona Goodman of Fort Worth, Texas; and three 
grandchildren.

Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 
Cottage Grove. Remembrances to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 
P.O. Box 187, Memphis, TN 38101-0187.
