Evans, Edith M.

Edith M., 76. of OKC. passed away Thursday, March 6, 2003 in OKC. She 
was born October 14, 1926 at Glencoe, OK to A.H. and Beulah (Mizell) 
Johnson. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene; 
one son, Frankie; one brother, Floyd (Bud) Johnson; and one sister, 
Lessie Keaton. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Emberling of 
OKC; one grandson, David Emberling and wife Dana; one granddaughter, 
Dena Lippe of OKC; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Jessica and 
Sammy Emberling, all of Shelbyville, TN; sisters, JoAnn Threlked and 
husband Tom, Georgia Anderson and husband Merle, all of OKC; sister 
Mae Bryant and husband Arlis of Slick, OK; and many dearly loved 
nieces, nephews, and close family friends. Funeral services will be 
held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2003 at Baggerley-South Funeral 
Home Chapel with interment to follow in Arlington Memory Gardens. The 
family wishes to thank the nurses and caregivers of Hospice of 
Oklahoma County, and Edith's church family, for their kind and 
compassionate care during Edith's illness. Memorials may be made to
