Fehse, Shirley Cecil Shirley Cecil, died on April 1, 2004 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village in Denton, Texas. She was born January 12, 1918 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clarence and Ethel Gibson. She was a life long Baptist and lived in Oklahoma City and Tulsa the majority of her life. Her husband, Milford H. Fehse, brothers Marvin Gibson and Bobby Brown, and sister Maxine Gibson Morton preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Elder Noto and husband Martin of Denton, Texas; and Jo Elder Batey and husband, Wilbur of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Terri Wyly of Dallas, Texas and; Burton Batey of Costa Mesa, California; and Ann Batey Ward and husband Rob of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Great grandchildren Kyla Vaverka, A.J. Lee, Chelsey Lee, and Olivia Wyly. And family friend Kay Northcutt and her daughter Madelynn Northcutt. Four step children, seven step great grandchildren. And one step great great grandchild, and nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Fehse. Memorials may be made to the Nursing Center Activities Director of Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village, 3901 Montecito, Denton, TX 76210 or Autumn House, 500 Adair Blvd., Midwest City, OK. The family would like to thank and acknowledge the excellent professional and loving care that Mrs. Fehse received from the caregivers at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village and the Vitas Hospice Healthcare of Texas.
