Katherine V. Fox passed from this world to her reward on 1/7/03. She was born 3/4/13 in Lehigh, OK. Katherine is survived by her husband, Dan S. Fox, her husband of 27 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Dougherty, and is survived by her daughter, Lois Douglas, OKC. Katherine is also survived by her sister, Beatrice Clauson (CA); brothers Hubert Vela, Albert Vela and Rudolph Vela. Katherine was preceded in death by parents, Odell and Susie Vela (Mexico) and sister, Mary Sepeda. She is also survived by step daughters, Nina Goddard and Arniren Gibson. Katherine had 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Katherine was a staunch Catholic as well as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her family will never forget the warmth, kindness and concern which she showered on them during her lifetime. Katherine was a caregiver for several family members until her death. Words cannot describe the grief felt by the loss of the matriarch of our family. Until we are reunited again, Adios y amor siempre! There will be a Rosary at 7:00 PM Thursday January 9, 2003 at the Vondel Smith Mortuary South Colonial Chapel.
