She was born on December 16, 1934, in Ryan, OK, to Ollie L. and Thelma H. Williams. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill Friedlander, Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law Gayle and Kyle Keahey, Grapevine, TX; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Kenneth Kyle, Olathe, KS; and brother, Lowell Williams, Ryan, OK. She has seven beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Kevin and Beth Keahey, Grapevine, TX, and Lauren, Kelsey, Brady and Riley Kyle, Olathe, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ada Lee Zachry, and brother, Alvis Williams. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Ryan High School in 1953. She and Bill married on December 17, 1955. She graduated from Oklahoma College for Women in 1957, with a degree in fine arts and music. She had a voice like an angel, was a telented pianist, and a gifted and inspiring teacher. She taught choral music for many years at Putnam City High School, retiring in 1979. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed. Her beauty, grace and creativity will forever be remembered. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Visitation and service at Vondel L. Smith & Sons, 13125 N. MacArthur, Oklahoma City. Services will be hed at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7801 N.W.
