He passed away November 15, 2005 at Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years and 9 months. Lloyd attended grade school at Grimes and graduated from Berlin High School. He entered the United States Marine Corps and served his country during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge he lived in Oklahoma City where he worked for a packing company. He returned to Cheyenne and began working for his father as an electrician. He was a member of the Cheyenne Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Survivors include one sister, Mildred and James Matthews, Westerville, Ohio; two nephews, Jim Matthews, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Jimmy Don Mogg, Dallas, Texas; two nieces, Dayna Brown, Orlando, Florida, and Mary Lyne Casden, Worthington, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held November 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne Church of Christ officiated by J.A. Farber and Melvin Summers, Eulogy. Burial was at Dempsey Cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
