Gebhardt, Jacob P.

Jacob P. Gebhardt, 88, passed away Dec, 1, 2002, in OKC. He is survived by 
his loving wife, Mary (91), of 63 years and their children, Betty and her 
husband John Erbrick of Edmond, and John of Bensalem, PA; grandchildren, 
Noreen McCorkle, Crissy Donatucci, both of Bixby and Eileen Ames of Tulsa; 
seven great grandchildren; sister, Sue Walsh of Philadelphia, PA. He was a 
veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After spending 82 years 
living in Philadelphia, PA he and his wife Mary moved to Edmond, OK in 
September of 1996. He was a retired baker and confectionery worker of 
Local Union Number 6. An avid sports fan, Jake loved the Philadelphia 
Phillies and Eagles. He was a kind, gentle and loving man who will be 
missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.E.A.S. 
Scholarship Fund or St. Pius X (Tulsa) Support-a-Student or School of St. 
Mary (Tulsa) Support-a Student. A viewing will be held at 9:30 am,, 
Wednesday, December 4 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with a Mass 
of Resurrection following at 10:00 a.m. with interment 3:00 p.m. at 
Calvery Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S. Broadway, 
Edmond
