Obit of Glowaski, Isabelle - Oklahoma County, Oklahoma Submitted by: Gene Phillips 01 Apr 2007 Return to Oklahoma County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok//oklahoma.html ===================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE Copyright. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Glowaski, Isabelle Isabelle Glowaski, beloved wife of Larry Glowaski, mother of Bobbi Bateman and Linda Cody, grandson Keven Cody, Jaime Bateman, granddaughter Wendy Jones, great grandchild, Kyle Bateman, passed away suddenly into the loving arms of Our Father on April 3, 2003. Isabelle was 86 years old at the time of her death, and she and Larry enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Isabelle was retired from Hertz Data Center, and she loved crocheting, traveling and meeting with her friends at T.O.P.S. club where she was a long time member. Isabelle was a loving devoted mother and long-time caregiver to their terminally ill son, David. Isabelle was preceded by her son David Glowaski, sister Vernie Coon, brother Ira and Harry Thomas, and parents, Effie and Charles Thomas. If Isabelle could speak her heart, she would say: I'M FREE Don't grieve for me now. I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship share, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch... Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me. Gods wanted me now- he set me free! -Author Unknown Love and will miss you all, Isabelle. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7th at St. Mark's UMC, 8140 NW 36th St, Bethany, OK.
