All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery--OKC OK Gorbet, Clarence Clarence, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003. He was born to Henry M. and Eva L. Gorbet, in Velma, OK. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked 38 years for the railroad. He married Ann McCray, on September 8, 1968. Clarence was a 32nd Degree Mason with Lodge #50 in El Reno, and a board member of Northwest Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Carolyn Hill; son, Clarence Gorbet and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Michelle Bredesen and husband, Colin, Tammy Gorbet, Melissa Hill, Greg Gorbet and wife, Kassie, and Brittany Gorbet; and four great grandchildren. Also, brother, Ewell Gorbet; and sister, Mary Hampton and husband, Ned; and brother, Bill Gorbet. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at Northwest Freewill Baptist Church, 4625 NW 36. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26, from 6pm to 8pm. Memorial donations can be made to the Northwest Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund.
