Garcia, Manuel Manuel, 76, a lifelong resident of OKC, died April 1, 2004. He was born Jan. 11, 1928 in OKC, OK to Benito & Fernanda Garcia. He proudly served his country in the US Army, and became a lifetime member of the VFW 1857. Manuel worked as a skilled aircraft electrician for Tinker Air Force Base. He was also a member of the Ticket Taker Union and a Sergeant for the Senate at the State Capitol. Manuel touched many lives with his spirit, wit & humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Josephine Gloria. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo of the home; daughters, Sandra Fannon Jesse, of Del City, Gloria Bastin & husband, Gary of McLoud, Cynthia VanCuren & husband, Gary of Del City, and Pamela Cook & husband, Terry of Moore; brothers, Benny Garcia, Jr. & wife, Clara and Fred Garcia, all of OKC; sister, Matilda Alviso of OKC; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
