All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Fort Worth Star-Telegram 18 Aug 2005 Anna Jean Grigsby 1931 - 2005 Anna Jean Grigsby, 74, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a retired hospital housekeeper, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Baker Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1050 E. Humbolt Street. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home, 301 E. Rosedale. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Anna was a member of the Women's Missionary Society, Gospel Choir and Progressive Club, and assistant secretary of the church school at Baker Chapel AME Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a volunteer at Fellowship Corner Senior Citizens Center. A native of Oklahoma City, Okla., she was educated at Douglass High School in Oklahoma City. Survivors: She is cherished in memory by her husband, Henry Grigsby; daughters, Sandra (Eugene) Gaddis and Carolyn Gibson of Oklahoma City, Okla., Sheila Tillman, Tammie (David) Parker and Shonda (Louis) Johnson of Fort Worth; son, Michael (Nishani) Grigsby of Fort Worth; stepdaughter, Len Parker of Tulsa, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of other family members and friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Oklahoma County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/oklahoma/oklahoma.html
