Obit for Richard Guy Grant

Richard Guy Grant
CLOVIS, N.M. - Richard Guy Grant, 97, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial 
will be in Melrose Cemetery.

Mr. Grant was born in Center, Texas, and moved to Melrose in 1924. He owned 
Grants Barber Shop in Melrose. He moved to Clovis in 1954 where he coowned 
Grants Barber Shop with his brother until his retirement in 1991. He was a 
member of Bible Missionary Church.

He married Minnie Gladys Burch in 1924 at Clovis.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dwight Grant of Baton Rouge, La., 
and Dwain Grant of Bethany, Okla.; four grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.
