He was born on September 12, 1906, in Osage Indian Territory. Pete was a residential designer of custom homes for 39 years and a member of Olivet Baptist Church. He was an avid bowler, a member of the ABC and OKC Men's Bowling Association and was inducted into the Greater OKC Bowling Council Hall of Fame in 1984. Pete bowled a 300 game at Lincoln Lanes where he also ran the Grants Bowling Supplies Store from 1959-1964. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lois; three sons, Stephen and wife Jean of Austin, Tx., Michael and his wife Michelle, and Dan (unsure of first name) Grant, all of Houston, Tx.; goddaughter Debra Strong of OKC; and four grandchildren. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 28 at the South Colonial Chapel. Vondel L.
