All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Olivet Cemetery--Pauls Valley OK Greenwalt, Nora Beatrice (Potter) Nora Beatrice (Potter) Greenwalt, of OKC, passed away Monday, April 7, 2003, at OU Medical Center, Presbyterian Tower in OKC, at 78 years of age. She was born May 15, 1924, in Stratford, OK, to Noah and Rosie Myrtle (Stacey) Potter. Following her high school education, she attended special classes to further her in her career with AT&T. On June 16, 1944, Nora Beatrice Potter was married to Thayer E. 'Ted' Greenwalt, in Richmond, California. On December 27, 1950, they returned to make Oklahoma City their home. Her division at AT&T later became Lucent Technology where she was Senior Product Technician and worked for a total of 27 years until her retirement in 1988. 'Bea' was always helping others - from her co-workers, who affectionately called her 'Mom', to the members of her family of which she had 8 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, James Potter, Charlie Potter, Calvin Potter, Adlee Joe Potter and Luther Potter; 3 sisters, Annie Potter, Dorothy Freeman and Ethel Malone. Surviving family include her husband of 58 years, Thayer E. 'Ted' Greenwalt of Oklahoma City; her twin sister, Dora Veatrice Reece, and a brother, C.L. Potter, both of Pauls Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2003, at the Stufflebean Chapel, officiated by Dr. Jim Crockett. Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
