All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Resthaven Memory Gardens--OKC OK Gore-Parton, Maxine Maxine, 74, passed from this earth into the arms of her Savior on April 15, 2003. She was born June 8, 1928 in Seiling, OK to Eva (Parmenter) and William Barney. She loved traveling, cooking, and gambling, but above all else, raising and spending time with her family, and she was always sure to get the last word in. Maxine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death, by her husband Clarence Parton; parents; brother Leo Barney; son-in-law Harold Nichols; daughter-in- law Roberta Gore; grandchildren: Shane Nichols, Jimmy Amos, and Ryan Neil Gore. She is survived by sons: Rick Gore & wife Donna, and Don Gore; daughters: Barbara Amos & husband James, Lavina Nichols, and Janna Gore; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Lynn Gore; and other family and friends too numerous to mention. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mark Woodward and staff, Southwest Medical Center, EMSA, and Fire Station #25 for everything they have done. You have been a blessing to our family. Services to celebrate Maxine's life will he held 2:00 PM Friday at the Little Chapel of the Roses at Resthaven Memory Gardens. VONDEL L.
