All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Hobgood, Jerry Mac "Sonny" Jerry Mac 'Sonny' Hobgood, age 59 of Piedmont, OK, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 after a short battle with cancer. Sonny was born in Capital Hill on Oct. 17, 1944 to John and Susie Hobgood. He was one of 10 children and a long time resident of the Oklahoma City area. Sonny was a commercial and residential paint contractor for many years. Sonny was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Hobgood; father, John Hobgood; two brothers, J.C. and Jack Hobgood. Sonny is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Hobgood of the home; Children and Grandchildren, Shelly Clymer and son Todd of Moore; Marilyn Grant and her children Kyle and Anna of Moore; Louie and Charlene Richards and daughters Leslie and Jesslyn of Wewoka; Charles and Lynn Michler and daughters Angela, Samantha and Tiffany of Okla. City; Monica Young and children Britanie and Brian of the home; Brothers and Sisters, Ruth Clark of Okla. City; Margie Matthews of Mead, OK; June Reeves of Texas; Barbara Hobgood of Edmond; Kenny and Jackie Hobgood of Okla. City; Gary and Sandra Hobgood of Lexington, OK; Janet and Bill Noble of Okla. City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Sonny is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003 at Guardian West Chapel. Burial will be 1:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK. GUARDIAN WEST 41 & N.
