All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Hoffpauir, Royce Edward (Bing) Royce Edward (Bing), passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27th, 2002 after a lengthy hospital stay. Born Nov. 30th, 1922 on a farm near Lake Arthur, LA to Eddie Murrell and Myrtis Irene Hoffpauir. He was the youngest of three boys. He graduated from Jennings, LA High School in 1940 and joined the Army Air Corps in 1941. He met his late wife Charlene Carmichiel in OKC and they married in Aug. 1945 in Oberlin, KS. After an honorable discharge in Dec. 1945, Bing & Charlene settled in MWC where he was employed for 32 years at TAFB. His hobbies and passions included flea markets & garage sales and he was an avid bingo player. Bing was loved by all who had the honor of knowing him. His continuing acts of kindness and selflessness inspired all around him. He will be greatly missed by all. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Pam Anderson & husband Jim of New Jersey and his son, Steven Hoffpauir of Oregon; 4 grandchildren: Amanda, Sara, Matt & Kristin; nieces: Shirley & Carolyn; sister-in-law: Mary Ruth Hoffpauir; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his wife: Charlene Hoffpauir, his parents; and his brothers: Cyril & Marion Hoffpauir. In lieu of flowers, family requested donations be made to the The American Cancer Society. Services will be at 10:00 am, Wed., Dec. 4, 2002 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Memorial Park, OKC.
