She died peacefully December 28, 2002 in Oklahoma City. Nona will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She married Sherman T. Hess in 1924. Nona lived a long, happy life filled with hard work and good times. She was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. Nona will be remembered as a devoted wife and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; her husband and one daughter, Doris L. Hutchins of Lawton, OK. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Hess Rudiger and husband Robert of OKC; her son-in-law Bill Hutchins of Lawton; her granddaughter Jeri Edwards Thomas and husband Rod of Dallas, TX; grandson Kyle Edwards and wife Linda of OKC; granddaughter Sharon Adamson of Lawton; grandson Tom Hutchins and wife Sharon of Lawton; four great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by an extended family she truly loved, Donna and Jim Snider; Markie and Don Orf; Mel and Glen Osburn all of OKC. A celebration of her life will be held at Baggerley-South Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Burial will Follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at South Park Heath Care Center and Southern Hospice for their loving care and to Dr. Lawrence Deck III of OKC for his care, compassion, and friendship.
