All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Hickox, Norman Keith Norman Keith Hickox, of Oklahoma City, passed away August 15, 2002 at the age of 70. Keith was born May 27, 1932 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Carson Elliott and Anna Randel Hickox. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Oklahoma graduating in 1954. Keith went on to serve in the Air Force at Tinker Field and in Rapid City, South Dakota. Keith was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma except for five years of adventure in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Beaver Lake, Arkansas. He was a home builder, first in the business with his father and then having his own company for 35 years in the Oklahoma City area. He worked also with Midland Mortgage Company for 5 years in the middle 70's. Keith was currently serving on the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Central Oklahoma and was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where be served as Deacon, Elder, Trustee and was President of the Men of Westminster. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan Shields Hickox; their daughters Laura Cramer and her husband Ron of Jacksonville, FL, Leslie Hickox of Scottsdale, AZ, Leigh Jones of Long Island, NY; grandchildren Keith Buchanan Cramer and Carson Elizabeth Cramer of Jacksonville; niece Lynn Hickox Smith; nephew Boyd Carson Hickox; sister-in-law Janet S. Price and brother-in-law Fred C. Shields, Jr. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jay Randel Hickox and his great aunt Bonnie Norman Gregory. A memorial service for Keith will be 12:00 noon, Tuesday, August 20 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Memorials to Keith's life may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Central Oklahoma.
