Lucille was born on April 14, 1923 in Clarkesville, Texas and graduated from IOOF in 1942. It was that summer that she first laid eyes on the man she said she would marry after refusing him a glass of water. Their union was blessed with two lovely daughters, Delores Jean and Donna Lynn. In 1946 they moved to Oklahoma City, where Lucille utilized her creative skills, first as a cake decorator for Clark Bakery in Bethany and later as a wedding consultant. From there she went to work for Sooner Icee as an administrative assistant until her retirement. She was a long term member of Putnam City Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by both parents, her daughter Delores Jean, and her husband Bryan Eugene Hodges. She is survived by her Daughter; Donna Golden and husband Jim, Brother; Doak Russell and wife Jodi, Grandchildren; Shelene Aho and husband Roger, Jimmy Golden and wife Ronda, Great-grandchildren; Caylin Pattenaude, Jeff and Kelli Caldwell, and R.J. & Kiffney Aho. Lucille's greatest joy was in her family, in whom she took much pleasure. She has a great number of friends who dearly loved her as well.
