William C. Hutzel, Jr., 71, was born August 12, 1931 in Hot Springs, AR to Clifford and Delcie Hutzel and passed from this life to his heavenly home on January 15, 2003 at Norman Veteran's Hospital. After graduating from high school, William enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served two years in Korea. Upon his return from Korea, Bill attended business school in Arkansas before beginning his 30 year career with the U.S. Postal Service. He retired as a postal supervisor of 17 years in 1990. Bill and his wife Gayle enjoyed traveling in their motor home to various destinations. He enjoyed watching Sunday football and especially the Dallas Cowboys. Bill is survived by his wife, Gayle of the home; two sons, William B. Hutzel of OKC and Rocky Hutzel and his wife Sherrie of Tulsa; one daughter, Sherry Owens and husband Eugene of OKC; three step-children, Charlotte Dean of OKC, Marvin Igo and wife Kathy of Wynnewood, OK and Lavonne Lowell and husband Scot of Moore; two brothers, Richard Hutzel and wife Debbie of Hot Springs, AR and Loyd Hutzel and wife Mary Alice of Hot Springs, AR; one sister, Helen Hunter and husband Sid of Sherman, TX; and fifteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will begin 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 18, 2003 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
