Barney N., 77, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 29, 1926 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Barney and Queen Esther (Northcutt) Hudson, Sr. Barney served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He owned and operated Wagonwheel Trading Post for over 15 years and enjoyed collecting many different antiques. He was the Chief of Police at the fairgrounds for ten years and the founding member of the Oklahoma Western Gunfighters Club. Barney is survived by his wife Isabelle Mills Hudson; three sons, Fred Rutherford and wife Karen of Shawnee, Lonnie Mills Sr. and wife Chum of Lawton, and Jessie B. Hudson of OKC; two daughters, Linda Williams and husband Larry of Moore and Sherry Vaught of Del City; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Courtney Hudson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 10, 2004 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
