She was born March 15, 1923, in Oklahoma City to William and Mattie Hast. Louise was a 1941 graduate of Central High School. She was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church where she was a Second Grade Sunday School Teacher for many years. Louise's hobbies included china and oil painting, piano, and sewing. She served as a parent volunteer and TBN prayer counselor. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John W. Hast; sister, Lillian Hast; and granddaughter, Anne Louise Thompson. Survivors include her husband, Joe M. Hodgson; sons and wives, Dr. William and Judy Hodgson and Dr. Larry and Monsi Hodgson; daughter and husband, Dr. Richard and Nancy Thompson; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brother and wife, Rev. William and Joan Hast, and sister, Eleanor Clifton. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2002, at the Metropolitan Baptist Church.
