William J. Hudson, Harrah, OK, age 78, was born on April 16, 1927, in Caperville, Tennessee. He was the son of Woodson and Lillie Mae (Choate) Hudson. He left this life on August 20, 2005, in Harrah, OK. William served in the U.S Army and worked in the parts department at Tinker Air Force Base for 26 years until his retirement. He then owned and operated Hudson Truck and Tractor Salvage in Harrah, which he ran until his death. William also delivered the Daily Oklahoman for over 20 years in the Harrah area. William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hudson of the home; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Woody & Carol Hudson of Harrah and Phillip Hudson of Harrah; 5 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Billie & Gary Marshall of Harrah, Leisa Enyart of Harrah, Barbara & Tim Cooley of Augusta, KS, Teresa Kimbrough of Harrah and Naomi Ryan of Del City, OK; 2 brothers, Edward Hudson of Olive Branch, MS and John Lee Hudson of Olive Branch, MS; 1 sister, Evelyn Vaughn of Memphis, TN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Delbert Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
