'Steve' HUDMAN, 66, died August 13 in Phoenix, Arizona after a short illness. He was born January 27, 1936 in Oklahoma City to Nellie (Maddux) Hudman and James Carl Hudman Sr. The youngest of four children, he attended Cleveland, Taft, Old Classen and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at Oklahoma University. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. He enjoyed a long and successful career in technical recruiting a majority of which was with Ciber, Inc. in Colorado, California and Arizona. Steve remained an enthusiastic member of the Oklahoma University Alumni Association and fostered many lifelong relationships, often returning for homecomings and reunions. He was an avid fan of all sports - especially O.U. football. Steve was an exceptionally giving person who consistently put the wants and needs of others ahead of his own. He loved to socialize with family and friends. His engaging smile, quick wit and kind heart will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Steve was predeceased by his parents, his only child Nancy and his brother James Carl Hudman, Jr. He is survived by his wife Beverly of Phoenix, AZ; two step-children and five step- grandchildren. Two sisters, Ernestine Allen (Mrs. George T.) and Carnell Cook, both of Oklahoma city; and many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and long time friends.
