All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery--Spencer OK Hawthorne, Tom Tom, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle, left to be with our Heavenly Father on February 7, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with heart disease and cancer. He was born on October 20, 1926 in Lamar, OK. He was a Veteran of World War II. He married LaVonne King on March 9, 1951. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1985, after 32 years. He enjoyed gardening, card games, dominoes, and checkers. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Irby (1968) and Callie (Brock, 1970); brothers: Roy Hawthorne (1962), and Walter Hawthorne (2001); sister, Opal Hawthorne (2002), and granddaughter, Denise Mojica (1983). He is survived by: his wife, LaVonne (King); two sisters: Anna Friend of Holdenville and Minnie Eyler of Kennewick, WA; three daughters: Bonnie Zehbe of Yukon, Carol Ready of Del City, and Nita Beach of Bowling Green, KY; one son, Alan Hawthorne of Guthrie; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church for all their prayers. Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 10, 2003, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
