Homer was born to Edna Barnes Hall and Howard Hall January 26, 1912 in McLoud, OK. He was raised in Shawnee, OK and Los Angeles, CA. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II under special assignment by General Dwight D. Eisenhower in France and Germany. Later, he was a farmer and breeder of purebred Herefords in Iowa and Missouri. He has lived in Oklahoma City over 30 years. Homer is survived by his daughter, Nancy Vanosdoll of Henderson, NV, brother John G. Hall of Nokesville, VA, step-son and daughter Jack and Jennie Allison of Oklahoma City, and one grandson and two great grandsons in Missouri. He donated his body to Oklahoma University Medical School. A memorial service will be held at the VA Hospital Chapel at 10:30am on Saturday, February 8, 2003.
