All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Holcomb, Bill Bill Holcomb, long time Oklahoma City resident and businessman, passed away Nov. 19, 2003, in Sulphur, Ok. Bill was married to Jo Holcomb on March 19, 1946, to this union came 4 children. Bill served in the United States Navy during World War II. Bill established and operated Bee Line Plumbing and Heating and was a long time member of Twin Hills Golf and Country Club, where he was Santa Claus to many children. A champion for youth, Bill spent many years giving of his time to area youth athletics, and was a member of the Northeast Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by his loving wife 'Jo' eight years ago. Bill is survived by his daughter and son in law, Nancy and David Wood; sons and daughters in law, Billy and Susan Holcomb, Alan and Gail Holcomb, Randy Holcomb; brother in law and sister in law, Roland and Ann Bacon; grandchildren, Allison, Brett, Timothy, Ryan, Chelsea Holcomb, Jodi and Cori Wood, Stacy Gray; great grandchildren, Hannah Meeker, Raemy Gray, Blythe and Joli Holcomb; and a number of special nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the Oklahoma Veteran Center in Sulphur, OK. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2003, at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
