Hollenback, Mary Marcella

Mary Marcella Hollenback passed away Friday, August 12, 2005. Marcella (as 
she was known) was a WWII Veteran, an original 'Rosie the Riveter", a 
member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Lions Club, Eagles, and many other 
organizations. Marcella was sharp as a tack at 84 years old. She took 
great joy in her children and grandchildren, bingo, and crossword puzzles. 
She is survived by her children, Glenna Parker and husband, Joel; Kathy 
Pate, Beverly Hollenback, Mike Hollenback and wife, Linda; Ray Hollenback 
Jr., Charles Hollenback, Carolyn Hancock and husband, Mike; Georgia Miller 
and husband, Mace; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
Marcella will be missed greatly but she is joining her husband of 44 years 
in Heaven. May God bless her soul and keep her spirit in us all. A 
memorial service was held in honor of Mary Marcella Hollenback at 2pm on 
Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas. In 
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
